Mobile, Cell Phone VirusesActually the Virus writers written script or codes to attack the PC and Harm it. As the Cell phone market is opening wide (3Million users) and valunarable, those people are trying to target and destroy the Cellular phones.The first known Virus was found in the year of 2004. In Santa Monica, USA, two mobile phones which were on Display were contacted the virus through Blue tooth by a passing mobile phone within 100 Yards of their display area. It's name was Cabir Virus. But it didn't did much harm to the mobile phones. But it made telephone industry people to get worried. Although in 2005 a virus identified as Commwarrior A, This virus used Blue tooth and Multimedia messaging Service (MMS) to invade.But this too didn't made much harm to the then latest Mobile phones which were selling too fast. The little affected phones were of Symbian series 60 phones. These smart phones didn't spread the virus like PCs. Although, Antivirus companies took note of it and start to work on it too. Most probably Microsoft took action, as many phones uses their products via Internet. They now every week up date this malicious software removal tool. |
