the first mobile phone, When he was hired by motorola. In 1973 he
released his first mobile phone "Motorola DynaTac", with a weight of 2.5 Lbs. It was so big, 9" X 5" x1.75". It didn't have
much functions as today. It had Dial, Talk and listen functions only.
Mr.Martin cooper, who grown in Chicago later received his Graduation at the university of Illinois Institute of Technology.
Later He joined the American navy. He was hired By the Motorola company to Develop Portable communication product.
The funniest thing was, He made his first call from a New York street to his rival, Mr.Joel Engel, head of the Bell Research labs.
We hope, He didn't had any funny ring tones on those days.
Today's Mobile phones are multy functional. Low in weight (All techno products are coming ultra slim, Because of better Technology),
Quick response. They use their signals via radio frequencies. Mobile phones Are connected to a cellular network of
base stations called in as cell sites,
From here it is interconnected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
It uses one frequency to listen, And another one to speak.
The mobile phone's weight and size were big problem for people in the early days.
Now every things are changed. Recently Samsung Introduced the Slimmest phone with a thickness of just 6.9mm.
